We support an extensive range of Capital Markets products and services including Fixed Income (FX, Rates, Credit, Muni, Cash and Derivatives) where Citi is consistently a dominant top 3 player in the market, Equity (Cash, Derivatives, Prime Brokerage, Futures, Listed Derivatives, FXPB) where Citi has a significant growth program to continue to build out its capabilities and services; and Syndicates where we support both FI and EQ new issues and IPOs. We play a key role in supporting our global clients to ensure they have a first class experience in service performance and strategic partnership.

**Role Description:**


Markets Operations Solutions team is looking for an Apps Development Sr Manager with knowledge of Capital markets, Post Trade/Post execution space to lead the enhancement of data platform for regulatory mandates and design onboarding of new data elements. The person should have strong hands-on experience in developing Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Model and experienced in large scale data models that fits multiple lines of business.


The person should be familiar with all elements of a modern data and analytics stack. The incumbent will support activities related to the development of data architectures and data management capabilities, including but not limited to, data modeling, data integration, metadata repository implementation, data quality execution, data retention lifecycles, data security, automation and seamless integration into the big data and analytics platform through APIs. Should be confident in choosing the right technology to address business requirements and will be comfortable experimenting with new technologies. Having hands-on experience with varied data technologies and a willingness to learn on the job is key to success in this role


The role provides unique opportunity to work on a high visible, high impact project covering multiple asset classes and business functions.


This is a highly visible role for a key initiative wherein the person will get opportunity to work on multiple asset classes and business functions, interact with many teams and stakeholders at senior level. It will also provide a great exposure to learn new business processes and flows.


**Responsibilities:**


Person in this role will be responsible for designing overall architecture of the data platform which will support data flow from multiple systems into central repository and enable us to generate metrics needed for regulatory and industry mandates.


Assume technical ownership of data capabilities. Contribute to the definition of reusable patterns and data-oriented blueprints. Drive discovery and requirements analysis with business teams to shape data pipelines and data management capabilities.


Hands on role in implementing the data model and critical components of the platform.


**Qualification & Skills:**


+ Proven work experience as a Data Integration Lead or Data Engineer

+ 10+ Years exp working in data centric development role

+ Hands-on experience with SQL and Integration Tools

+ Experience in leading, designing and implementing cloud data strategies, including designing multi-phased implementation roadmaps

+ Hands-on experience in rolling out data platforms on premises using technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, relational and NoSQL (Oracle, MongoDB) data stores at scale.

+ Experience with big data application development and/or with cloud data warehousing (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, Snowflake, GCP Big Query)

+ Expertise in building data architectures that support batch and streaming paradigms

+ Understanding data management and governance concepts such as data quality, metadata management, data lineage etc.

+ Experienced with integration tool like Talend, dimensional models, slowly changing dimensions, and database tunning.

+ Ability to lead a team and mentor junior developers

+ Self-starter attitude and ability to work independently

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Bachelor's or Masters Degree or Equivalent in relevant field
