The Enterprise Information Services (EIS) team at Cedars-Sinai understands that true clinical transformation and the optimization of a clinical information systems implementation is fueled through the alignment of the right people, processes and technologies. **What will you be doing in this role?** Under general supervision, independently responsible for developing user specifications, clinical operations workflows, application build/configuration, testing, and implementation. + Participates withinproject teams and with end-users to develop and recommend design options, applyingclinical workflow knowledge and experience. + Provides project team support, end-user training, and applicationmaintenance/problemresolution. + Performsintermediate level design, build and implementation assignments/ projects. + Based on core knowledge of application and operational requirements cantranslate requirement/concepts into functionality. + May initiate,facilitate. or lead meetings with end-user/business owner and other EIS teams + Demonstratesindependence and participation in team projects: translating customer needs,meeting deliverables, status reporting, and managing customer relationships andexpectations. + Assigned tovarious work/projects and demonstrates an ability to successfully completeassigned tasks/assignments, proactively communicate with manager to prioritizeworkflow and mitigate risks, track issues and provide solution-orientedescalation, and understand project management methodologies. + Gathers,designs, and develops detailed specifications and participates incorporatingclinical, business and technical requirements. + Utilizesclinical and operational expertise to ensure team deliverables support thedelivery of safe and efficient care. + Demonstratescollaboration within and across application teams. + Escalates workissues to Team Lead or Manager as needed. + Participates inre-engineering of operational work-flow processes with end-users/business ownersand maintains working level understanding of assigned departmental operations. **Sounds great! What else?** + Facilitatesend-user/business owner needs into system specifications and configurationrequirements. + Demonstratestechnical proficiency in assigned application area. Independently managesnavigation of migration paths, change control process/governance, and ticketmanagement processes. + Provideshigh-level understanding of design integration and touch points with other Epicmodules and/or other applications. + Representsapplication team on work groups within the department or within projectscope. + Attends andrepresents unit on various Epic related committees (CCB, SFWG, OCD). + Maintains highstandards for quality application design, build, testing, and other tasks;ensures adequate documentation is provided for support and end-user training. + Manage and coordinate intermediate to advanced configuration and buildassignments/projects in collaboration with others. + As needed,participates in new employee interviews and the on-boarding process. + Will beassigned as needed to train new and junior team members. **Requirements:** + Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent combination of relevant experience, education andtraining.Outpatient Pharmacy experience preferred. + Epic Willow or Willow Ambulatory certification required. + Requires aminimum of (1) year experience in a clinical field, and (2) years of relevantwork experience in clinical informatics or working with healthcare informationmanagement systems. **Skills & experience we're looking for:** + Exceptional critical thinkingskills and attention to details required + Strong commitment to patientsafety and patient experience. + Project management experience. + Exceptionalcustomer service skills. + Ability tohandle multiple projects independently. + Demonstratesinitiative and pro-activeness in work. + Ability to troubleshoot effectively and provide recommendations.
