U.S. Bank National Association (U.S. Bank) is hiring for the position of Application Developer Big Data and Analytics Lead in Richfield, MN. Duties: Analyze business requirements and design, test, and develop software to meet requirements; design, debug, document, maintain, and modify computer applications of high complexity, significance, and risk; design complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms; may perform some application architecture functions; estimate and define time tables and project tasks; analyze and estimate cost and time; perform change impact analysis; create and review unit and test plans; create detailed program specifications; analyze and resolve complex technical problems related to applications; manage service levels, standards, and configurations; monitor operating efficiency of existing application systems and recommend technical solutions; and utilize dimensional data modeling skills using Kimball and/or Inman data warehouse design methodologies, relational databases, complex SQL queries, Informatica Power Center, data modeling tool (Erwin or Power Designer), physical database design including views and indexing strategies, Data Dictionaries, MDM strategies, Data Quality, Governance frameworks, Data Profiling, Big Data databases (Hadoop), Integration Technologies (Tibco or Spark), scripting languages (R and Python), and Reporting and Analytics tools (Tableau or SSRS).
