Job Description

If selected, you will join the team that manages Intel's relationship with one of the largest PC Client and Data Centre companies on the planet. This is a commissioned sales position.

As a PC Client SDM for APJ (SEA), you will join a small but motivated team of SDMs that seeks to drive Intel's PC Client business across the APJ region with a special focus on the South-East Asian region. The role will need the candidate to cover both the consumer and commercial segments, including public sector and education. In addition to engaging with client constituents in a specified geography the role will focus on driving growth in sub-segments where Intel is focused on driving technology innovation like Gaming and Thin & Light PCs; and platforms. The role will involve driving business acceleration through a variety of go-to-market processes and tools that form part of Intel's strategic alliance with client.

You will be measured both on sell-to and sell-with efforts in driving consumption of Intel's client products and technologies , its customers and its partners. You will be responsible for developing a regional strategy for Intel's Client PC growth while at the same time implementing a broader HQ/regional growth strategy for the account; working closely with the broader Intel sales team in APJ-Territories, our pricing and supply teams and BU stakeholders. Key areas of focus:

1. Building strong relationships with the buss sales team in the region at all levels

2. Driving segment level strategies

3. Maximizing sales of Intel's products and platforms including SOW opportunities

4. Effective use of the sales and marketing tools that are available as part of our strategic alliance with buss.

5. Go-to-market Sales strategy and execution

6. Ecosystem collaboration across different routes to market

7. Co-selling, deal pipeline management and driving deals to a positive close for Intel


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant subject area is required

  • Preferred 5+ years of prior experience in a sales role. Managing alliances and partnerships would be an added advantage

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) and preferable have knowledge of additional SEA languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, etc.)

  • Good knowledge with a fair/ good technical knowledge of the market and technologies. The candidate should be able to appreciate and articulate the value of Intel's products and platforms

  • Clear and confident communicator to a range of audiences from Sales & Product Directors to their teams

  • Self-driven and willing to work as part of a global account team
