In this unique role, you will work alongside a dedicated team and govern processes in the following:

Role Responsibilities

  • You to be at the heart of our FX payments compliance division, responsible for AML/CFT & Markets (incl. MiFID) Compliance for the WUBS business division at WUIB Germany Branch.
  • Focus on international FX payment services for SMEs and corporates, including hedging of FX currency risks with complex financial instruments (FX Forwards / Derivatives).
  • Steer the compliance strategy program and champion strategic initiatives as you influence others to successfully deliver on them.
  • Be the voice of the customer and use this to develop and manage steps to improve effectiveness.
  • Provide change initiatives as well as designing and developing process improvements.
  • Develop strong on-going relationships with global partners as you deliver reports and data to assist senior management.

Role Requirements

  • Education or equivalent skills are required with a strong desire to grow into a professional role.
  • You will need to have a well-established background in managing a team in compliance within the financial services industry.
  • Ability to work individually, and to collaborate with others in a fast-paced, team environment, making quick decisions, and managing timelines.
  • Demonstrate an ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and have influenced them throughout your career.
  • Be a strategic thinker and analytically minded in your approach whilst remaining able to manage change.
  • Motivated, and proactive, bringing the enthusiasm and interest for the requirements to a successful international company.
  • Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies is also desirable.
  • To be successful in this role, you must ideally have a native level of German and a good level of English language skills.
