Provides analytical and tactical support to the marketing and field sales teams by providing Pricing, Promotion Optimization and Mix insights and provides the Net Revenue Management team with operational support with a focus on Trade Investment.

  • Serve as the one point of contact for NRM activities to field sales teams
  • Analyzes and tracks promotional effectiveness while identifying patterns and opportunities and managing promotional guidelines for the sales teams
  • Manage the reconciliation and execution of Trade Architecture with NRM Trade Strategy team
  • Support the organization in driving Net Sales at assigned accounts and business units
  • Support the NRM Manager and Director of NRM in executing NRM initiatives across the commercial teams
  • Indirectly may support the Mgr. Trade Strategy in all aspects of trade management

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Conduct event level ROI analysis by account by promoted pack group (PPG) and/or by brand. Present those findings to Sales Teams leaders and work collaboratively with account teams to adjust promotional calendars
  • Identify opportunities to optimize deployment of trade funds based on post-promotion analysis
  • Provide account teams and Sales Strategy with pre-promotional ROI insights that will help drive investment decisions
  • Develop recommendations for promotional guidelines based on identified insights and patterns
  • Provide proposals for enhancing the data quality in TPM, specific to trade spend
  • Help create, deploy and train sales associates on ROI, Net Sales inclusive of tools and processes
  • Provide promotion, pricing and mix analytics and reporting to account teams and sales strategy
  • Work with other NRM team members to reconcile Trade Architecture Performance metrics
  • Support the execution of pricing initiatives at the account level. This includes analytical support to Sales Team Leaders and NRM Manager
  • Work with Net Revenue Management team members and customer teams to support the trade funding models
  • Regularly track, report and analyze trade spend variances and key metrics
  • Audit and manage the deployment of trade funds in conjunction with NRM Trade Strategy team
  • Support the Trade Analyst and Manager of Trade Strategy with business insights and learnings from sales teams
  • Provide analysis, trade spend reporting, net sales reporting and ad-hoc support to the Director of Strategic Revenue Management
  • Support internal and external audit requests
  • Provide Siebel system subject matter expertise and backup to the Sr Analyst of Trade Siebel

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelors degree required (preferably in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance)
  • 3-5 years of CPG or Consumer Health experience in a Sales Finance, Trade Planning or Pricing role
  • Experience analyzing data from diverse data sources
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Analytical proficiency and experience performing complex data analytics

Preferred Qualifications:
