**Anti-Money Laundering Country Officer Tasks (includes AML, Sanctions, AB&C)**


Comply with Citigroups Global Anti-Money Laundering framework and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements including:


Review of customer records in the CitiKYC system;


Review of AML transaction monitoring alerts generated by the FIU-Level One Hub;


Prepare Suspicious Activity Reports to local authorities as applicable;


Ensure the country AML Programme is kept up-to-date as well as the Denmark KYC Country Appendix;


Evaluate any new or amended Danish AML laws, rules and/or regulations and prepare gap analyses, as applicable, to assess any impact on the Citi Denmark office;


Prepare locally required annual risk analysis;


Undertake regular MCA testing and analyse results;


Provide input to various documents required departments such as the Business Support Unit (BSU) and Account Services Unit (ASU)/Account Documentation Unit (ADU) to stipulate local laws and regulations;


Raise Corrective Action Plans, as applicable, to ensure compliance with local laws, rules and regulations;


Act as FIU and KYC Risk Evaluation Management Designee;


Prepare and deliver AML training material as required by local laws, rules and/or regulations;


Undertake sanctions responsibilities to ensure compliance with local and US laws and regulations;


Report on AML and Sanctions matters to local, regional and global governance forums and ensure timely escalation of significant and material matters.


**Chief Country Compliance Officer Tasks**


Participating in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance programs, policies and practices for ICRM.


Analyzing complex comparative data, preparing and presenting regional and global reports related to compliance risk assessments, and monitoring of compliance related issues.


Reviewing materials to ensure compliance with various regulatory and legal requirements and to ensure compliance risks are appropriately identified and addressed.


Investigating and responding to compliance risk issues. Investigating regulatory inquiries, preparing required documentation, making recommendations to senior management on how to proceed, and preparing responses for the regulatory inquiries.


Overseeing the monitoring of adherence to Citis Compliance Risk Policies and relevant procedures and preparation, editing, and maintenance of Compliance program related materials.


Interacting and working with other areas within Citi, as necessary.


Keeping abreast of regulatory changes, new regulations and internal policy changes in order to further identify new key risk areas.


Additional duties as assigned.


**External/ Internal Audit and Risk Assessment Tasks**


Assist in the preparation for external audit reviews (KPMG) as well as Internal Audit & Compliance Assurance Risk Reviews;


Act as a point of contact on Compliance and AML issues;


Respond to inquiries from the Danish Financial Regulator and other Regulatory Authorities, when required;


Complete Risk Assessments (CRA, EWORA, EWARA, ABRA) and other ad-hoc global and regional analyses.


**General**


Assist the Denmark staff on AML / Compliance related matters;


Report to local BRCC on AML / Compliance related matters


Maintain the Regulatory Change Matrix, which includes. reviewing and implementing any new/updated locally applicable legislations as well as new/updated Citi policies/ related initiatives;


Timely communication of new and existing laws/policies/procedures to Branch staff;


Build relationship with peer AMLCOs / CCCOs;


Share knowledge with peer AMLCOs / CCCOs in the Europe cluster, including direct interaction on common topics.


**Fraud Manager Officer tasks**


Ensure compliance with the Citi Fraud Management Policy & Standards. Support the CCO, business/function heads in management of their respective fraud programs. Act as contact person in country for the regional Fraud Office in case of fraud suspects.

**Knowledge and skills**


Proficiency in Danish & English language


Knowledge of AML & Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies


Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive


Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization


Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills


Ability to both work collaboratively and independently; ability to navigate a complex organization


Advanced analytical skills


Ability to both work independently and collaborate with team members


Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time


Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Demonstrated knowledge in area of focus


**Preferred:**


+ Legal degree

+ Strong candidates will have advanced technical knowledge, expertise of AML regulations and requirements, experience within a highly complex, global financial institution, regulator or related industry.

+ AML qualification such as ACAMS or ICA Diploma


This Role is a Controlled Function Role as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland Reform Act 2010 and Principal Regulations 2011, and amending Regulations 2014, 2015.
