AI Sales - Technical Sales Specialist

Job Description

The technical sales specialist (TSS) is responsible for working with end customers on AI deployments from problem definition through implementation.

The TSS will:

  • Bring together various disciplines within Intel to guide customers through model selection, topology, code optimization, benchmarking, infrastructure selection and deployment.
  • Will often need to optimize customer code as well as create and deliver technical demos; coding experience is a must.
  • Should enjoy working with customers to help them solve real world problems.

A successful candidate responsibilities may include:

  • Understanding the business use case and technical merits of a solution and coowning relationships with customer/partner decisionmakers to influence the customers purchasing decision.
  • Daily activities will include providing direct technical assistance to customers and partners, interfacing with Sr. technical decision makers for Line of Business and Operational Technology Groups and representing customer market segment requirements back into the business unit for future product planning.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience with TensorFlow, Python, Jupyter notebook, C++, Linux, Scikit-learn
  • Deep understanding of popular deep learning models, topologies, and algorithms like CNN, RNN, LSTM, BERT, YOLO etc.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability and desire to work in a global setting with a large number of stakeholders
  • Experience with specific verticals (FSI, Healthcare, Telco, Retail) is an added advantage


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience as an enterprise technology specialist, solutions architect or systems integrator.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or AI related discipline required.
  •  This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or PhD preferred.
