Responsibilities

The Agile Backlog Lead will work on technology-based projects using Agile methodologies in collaboration with other systems divisions. The Backlog Lead will contribute to the requirements management process by documenting, analyzing, tracing, prioritizing, and agreeing on requirements and then controlling changes and communicating with relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with developers and customers on a daily basis during agile projects. Facilitate and drive Agile project requirement clarification via standard techniques such as lean driven task/workflow analysis to identify epics and breakdown epics into stories with acceptance test criteria to be used to drive iterations. Creates and updates individual product backlogs resulting from an Agile development approach. Elicit and document requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Experience writing automated test scripts a plus.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  2. Bachelor's w/ 8-10 yrs experience, Master's w/ 6-8 yrs. experience
  3. SAFe or similar agile certification
  4. Experience leading Agile Backlog efforts
  5. Experience using Agile development models and approaches

Desired Qualifications:

  1. STEM degree (e.g., computer science, management information systems, systems engineering).
  2. DIA systems experience [e.g., Machine-Assisted Analytic Rapid-Repository System (MARS), Generic Area Limitations Environment (GALE), Functional Intelligence System of Hierarchical Networks (FISHNet), FounDRI, Event Data, Defense Economics Database, Object Based Production (OBP), Activity Based Intelligence (ABI), IC Information Technology Enterprise (ICITE)].
