Description The MarketPoint Sales Support Representative 2 provides timely and effective sales support to Humanas selling agents. The Sales Support Representative will handle a high volume of inbound phone calls to assist insurance agents with pre-enrollment inquiries including the following: agent compliance (contracting, licensing, and certification), member enrollment, and agent commissions. Responsibilities Where you Come In + Receive inbound calls from internal and external selling agents in a fast-paced call center + Assist agents with all pre-enrollment inquiries including compliance verification, enrollment, product, and processes + Utilize documents, websites, and local networks to research and resolve inquires of agents, involving Member enrollment and company products + Build and strengthen relationships with both internal and external agents + Keep closely attuned to the needs and perspectives of customers, and use this insight for the benefit of the business + Document all sent and received information + Build Humanas brand by providing perfect experience + Adhere to internal processes and guidelines What Humana Offers + The scheduled shift will be 9:30 am - 6 pm AZ time (12:30 pm - 9 pm EST) + Work at Home opportunity within 3-6 months + Eligibility for the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) + Extensive Benefit package that starts your 1st day of employment + 23 days of accrued PTO (Paid time off) in your 1st year of employment + 8 hours of paid VTO (Voluntary time off) to contribute to your favorite volunteer community service event + 2 Personal Holidays + Earn cash/gifts/discounts through Humana Go365 a wellness and rewards program Required - What it Takes to Succeed + 2+ years of comprehensive customer service experience + Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent + Excellent written and verbal communication + 1 year commitment to Agent Support + Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel + Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications and utilize search tools to find information + During business season please expect overtime opportunities both voluntary and mandatory Preferred - How to Standout in a Crowd + Associate's or Bachelor's Degree + Previous call center experience + Previous sales, insurance, or healthcare experience + Positive engaged attitude + Conflict resolution experience + Demonstrates high level of critical thinking and problem solving skills + Demonstrates high level of multitasking ability + Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information + Demonstrates high level of emotional intelligence + Communicates effectively and confidently with all internal/external customers Additional Information Any Humana associate who speaks with an agent in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency.
