The Aetna Digitalization Agile Consultant is an expert in lean-agile methodologies, a thought leader responsible for leading and executing training and coaching efforts for Aetnas agile transformation. This role has direct impact on department results, influencing Aetna Digitalizations senior and mid-level leaders, in addition to other agile coaches and Process Innovators, in advanced agile practices at scale (the Scaled Agile Framework SAFe) and agile tooling strategies.

+ BA Experience supporting digital applications

+ BA experience in Retail, PBM, Specialty or insurance industry

+ Experience with one or more SDLC methodologies

+ Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe),

+ Experience with Agile methodologies; CBAP certified or SAFe 5.0 certified

**Fundamental Components:**


+ Work autonomously on small to medium-sized efforts including: participation in quarterly PI planning, requirements management, elicitation, and analysis

+ Independently manage stakeholder collaboration

+ Identifies BA needs and the Level of Effort (LOE) for respective analysis effort on a team

**Elicitation & Analysis**

+ Elicit and gather requirements in form of User stories in a scaled agile framework

+ Play a lead role in business problem-solving

+ Assist senior resources during the business, system and data analysis effort on mid- large sized efforts

+ Drive innovative technology solutions aligned with Aetnas business & product strategies

+ Partners with the business & product team to define & clarify scope

+ Leads or performs current state analysis to assist in the definition of new concepts and future state

+ Responsible for capturing 3 rd party or vendor requirements


+ Coach teams and Business Analyst in Lean-Agile practices and thinking

+ Provide mentoring and feedback for Organization. Leads other FTEs through the analysis effort. This includes providing guidance, direction, feedback and coaching to ensure team effectiveness

+ Support Agile coaching activities across program trains to elevate the Programs application of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

**Other Responsibilities**

+ Fosters a positive environment and demonstrates successful relationship building with cross-functional teams and business partners

+ Conduct interviews, fact-finding, and independent research to design creative, progressive solutions for business problems

+ Participates in the retrospectives and identifies improvement areas for the product teams and trains

+ Partner with the product team and perform User acceptance testing (UAT)

+ Ensure internal product stakeholders needs /expectations are met and promote transparency by helping communicate through SAFe/SCRUM practices

+ Develop Product Overviews, FAQs, Tool Glossaries, system training material, and system user documentation to support implementation activities

**Background Experience:**

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Self-driven individual with the following:

+ o SAFe 5.0 certified.

+ o 3-5+ years of demonstrated practical work experience in the Business Analyst role including writing business requirements in form of User storieso 3-5+ years of experience in the software development methodology lifecycle, including process analysis and design, business and functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, data analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementationo 1-3 years of experience developing use cases using a software development methodology

+ Must possess sound knowledge of structured IT application development lifecycles, methodologies inclusive of Use Case tools

+ Collaborative, excellent communication, holistic view and systems thinker

+ Collaborative style, with the ability to establish working relationships across the senior management team, business units

+ Strong listening skills, Writing and Verbal skills with a meticulous attention to detail, to communicate information effectively to leads, managers, and technical staff

+ Excellent Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among key stakeholders

+ Experience with Agile life cycle management tools such as RTC or CA Rally
