We are recruiting for an Advanced Field Service Engineer to join the team in Charlotte, NC. This role plays a considerable part in the delivery of services to external clients.

In this role, you will perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of sophisticated/advanced control systems such as (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300).

We are seeking a hardworking individual that will diligently and with due care and attention carry out all tasks assigned to them. As the successful and results-oriented Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Periodically connect with customers regarding technical and administrative issues, provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service related issues/enquiries, including Experion PKS, other DCS hardware / software such as LCN, TPS.
  • Configure, maintain and solve Honeywell hardware and software
  • Upgrade Experion software from one software release to another.
  • Develop your engineering talents in a team-based culture by working with innovative design solutions and technologies.
  • Learn and migrate Legacy Honeywell control systems and understand customer key processes and economic drivers, to translate those into business opportunities, providing timely research and recommendations.
  • Learn end-to-end product development and delivery of Honeywell products.
  • Provide periodic communication with customers, regarding technical and administrative issues, provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as a customer contact for service related issues/enquiries.
  • Configure, maintain and solve hardware and software including: Experion PKS, other DCS hardware / software such as LCN, TPS as well as upgrade Experion software from one software release to another on live control systems, without causing any interruption to customer€™s industrial process.
  • Learn Honeywell€™s new technology offerings, migrate Legacy Honeywell control systems, develop the skills and talents of other specialists through mentorship and on-the-job supervision, understand customer key processes and economic drivers. 

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical/Engineering discipline
    • 5+ experience in the field

      WE VALUE

      • The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and skills with Experion PKS Hardware & Software, in addition to Hiway, TDC, & TPS system experience including LCN, UCN, and Hiway equipment.
      • Experience with Honeywell control systems: Experion, Hiway, TDC2/3000, & TPS systems and Process Controls
        PC/Networking experience
      • 3rd Party controls experience
      • Project Management experience (budget control, schedules, resource allocation, reporting)
      • Previous customer service experience
      • Good written and oral communication
      • Good presentation skills
