**A Day in the Life**


Deliver understanding:


Manage analytics team to support enterprise-wide research


Apply statistics and AI to meet business goals


Partner with data engineers to provide applications and advice for internal clients to better understand their data


Work with diverse teams to achieve understanding of product performance in a real-world context


Innovate novel algorithms and tools to support research objectives


Publish results and present findings at meetings


Responsibilities include:


Manages all aspects of internal analytics and reporting


Directs activities of junior analysts toward program goals


Runs analyses and reports results


Works with data engineers in a devops environment to build production-grade custom analytical tools


Applies statistics and AI to diverse data types to support business goals


Acts as a liaison to internal customers with analytical needs


Innovates diverse analytical tools when solutions do not already exist


Writes compelling abstracts and articles to report findings


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:


Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage.


Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification.


Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems.


Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as a liaison to the business.


**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**


Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, or similar quantitative field


5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree or 3+ years of relevant experience with a Masters degree


**Nice to Have**


Experience with mentoring and managing other analysts and scientists


2+ years hands-on analytics experience in a corporate or start-up environment


Proficiency with scripted scientific language such as Python or R


Expertise in statistics


Proficiency in machine learning


Experience consensus-building in a complex, matrixed environment


Publications


Agile, customer-focused mindset


Masters and/or Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, or similar quantitative field


Experience in streaming analytics


Experience with application of Continuous Integration/ Delivery


Experience with relational database and/or NoSQL technologies


Experience in medical device industry


Understanding of FDA regulations including (ISO) 13485
