Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Intelligrated. You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and participating actively in design discussions
  • Collaborating with Customers and Product Marketing / Management teams to refine architecture roadmaps.
  • Develops and maintains reference architecture which includes the reference model, guiding principles, standards, patterns and usage guidelines
  • Provides comprehensive analytical thinking to ensure transformation costs, impact and value are properly understood estimated
  • Create contextual and conceptual models that help document and simplify potentially complex topics
  • Interface with other Architects, Technical Leads and Developers to drive technical solutions, estimate work efforts, define milestones and provide hands on technical leadership.

    YOU MUST HAVE
    • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 3 - 5 years of architecture practice experience

      WE VALUE
      • 3+ years of progressive experience as a professional software engineer delivering world class software products and services using object-oriented analysis, design and programming techniques
      • Hands-on professional experience building enterprise products
      • 5 years of experience working as a member of an Agile team
      • 3+ years implementing Java open source frameworks (i.e., Spring, Hibernate etc.)
        • Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
        • Effective communicator
        • Wide degree of creativity and latitude
        • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
        • Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
        • Can quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
