Administrative Assistant - PBS Compliance

The Administrative Assistant, Revenue Cycle Compliance, provides support for the department Director and Managers. Position is responsible for performing varied administrative duties, as well as generating reports, maintaining databases used to track department activities, and managing minor projects. Essential Job Duties: Schedules meetings and training sessions on behalf of leadership team. Ensures materials required for meetings are prepared in time for review by trainer. Maintains systems access for staff and vendor accounts. Orders department supplies, printing, system access, and other support requests. Tracks and records new provider and annual audits and training plans, including, but not limited to identifying claims for audit, distributing training documentation, managing claim holds, submitting documentation to vendors, reconciling audit results, resubmits claims as necessary. Produces reports from Anodyne (a report writer) or Excel, manipulates pivot tables within Excel for audit selection. Obtains patient documentation/charge tickets, transfers documentation through secure vendor site, track and monitor the workflow process in Excel. Maintains assigned work queues on daily basis, places provider's billing on audit hold/releases audit hold Resubmits unwanted provider charges as needed until desired accounts are obtained for audit. Performs research projects as directed by Compliance Director. Projects may involve but are not limited to: Payer requests, compliance statistical research, RAC, internet research, document design, document review, and data retrieval. Train vendors where to navigate Cedars-Sinai systems (CSLink/WebVS, etc). Establishes and maintains filing system and database records for Compliance Department. Organizes and expedites flow of work. Prioritize workloads. Sets appropriate deadlines. Initiates follow-up action. Escalates issues as necessary. Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information. Produce quality work within expected standards of department **EDUCATION:** High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** Minimum two (2) years of experience working in an office environment required. Minimum of six (6) months experience working in a healthcare setting preferred. Project Management experience preferred. CPC or CPC-A certification preferred. Ability to type 50-60 wpm. Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft based applications (i.e.: Word, Excel and Outlook). Possess strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently with a team-focused approach. Experience delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Cedars-Sinai is an EEO employer.
