**Job Description**

CVS Specialty Pharmacy, a mail service pharmacy in the Monroeville area, is looking for a Cash Applications Supervisor.


The Cash Application Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the workflow in the Cash Applications department and supervising the cash team. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring the department meets all production and quality goals. Some examples of routine responsibilities include:


- Monitoring workflow and production measures throughout the day for timeliness and accuracy

- Achieving key A/R results by maximizing cash flow, minimizing unapplied cash, and maintaining a low defect rate

- Actively participating in the companys Quality Improvement Program by monitoring each employee for customer service, productivity, and accuracy while collecting key performance indicator data, evaluating results, recognizing success and making recommendations for improvement to associates through coaching sessions

- Identifying and making recommendations to management, defining root causes of success within the department and reasons behind low-scoring performance indicators

- Addressing questions and concerns from direct reports and other department leadership and driving problem resolution

- Meeting regularly with the management group to proactively improve processes and resolve potential problems

- Holding regular team meetings to encourage suggestions for process improvements and to provide necessary information and training updates

- Training new employees on processes and existing employees on new business and special projects


**Required Qualifications**

- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role

- Experience in a high-intensity, fast-paced production environment.


**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience working with medical insurance or medical cash applications

- Experience leading a cash applications or insurance billing and collections department

- Ability to effectively manage people and provide team leadership and engagement

- Extreme accuracy and attention to detail

- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

- Focus on customer service to ensure patients are responded to with accurate and timely information

- Ability to evaluate work and process flow to ensure optimal efficiencies

- Ability to manage multiple priorities


**Education**

Associate's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, cash applications, business administration, accounting, or finance.
