Yelp is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to guide the implementation and development of an effective Accounts Receivable team. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for determining the appropriate pool of customers that the team must bill on a monthly basis, identifying opportunities for process improvements given system limitations and lead best practices for new system integration.

You will be an integral part of the Account Receivable team - a fun-loving, close-knit group of individuals who support one another in creatively solving dynamic business challenges and consistently meeting the ever-shifting demands of this high growth environment.

Where You Come In:

You will determine customer population that the team is required to bill on a monthly basis
You will use pivots and concatenations to build detailed billing, analytical and investigative reports
You will combine multiple tables to create unique identifiers for report preparation
You will manipulate complex formulas in Excel models to accommodate new products and other new customer information
You will use Excel to convert raw data to insightful reports for management and cross-functional teams
You will build multifaceted, cross-system billing reconciliations; investigate and resolve exceptions
You will prepare, test and ensure billing processes are compliant with SOX standards
You will provide revenue reporting for tax and commissions calculations to cross-functional teams
You will create and manage analytical reports to inform decisions surrounding company initiatives
You will identify growth and efficiency opportunities that directly impact billing strategies and practices
You will analyze and present insights to management to drive team efficiencies
You will generate forecasting reports to FP&A to manage headcount and other indexes
You will support management with the challenges and opportunities through the identification and implementation of a new billing system

What It Takes To Succeed:

You have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance
You have prior Revenue, Accounts Receivable, and Billing experience is desirable
You have advanced understanding of Excels analytical tools (functions, charts and formula stacking)
Excel model building experience a plus
You have a solid Analytical background with a strong ability to multitask
You have great organization and clear communication skills
You have the ability to quickly develop familiarity with large and complicated billing and CRM systems
Oracle, Salesforce and Zuora experience a plus
You are a strong team player
You have a great sense of humor
