Cash Reconciliation position to support the Wealth Management and Investment Services (WM&IS) division through: **Customer Service** Engage with internal clients across (WM&IS) to resolve inquiries quickly. A strong customer-focus by building relationships with internal business partners. Complete assigned tasks timely and independently prioritize workload to meet all departmental deadlines and produce high quality work. Independently identify abnormal exceptions/volumes and collaborate with business unit partners through timely, effective communication to resolve and mitigate re-occurrences. **Continuous Improvement/Problem Solving** Strong technical skills, including trouble shooting when issues arise and proactively opening/escalating tickets for system issues. Follow through until resolution. Assist with projects and at times may assume lead responsibilities. Manage numerous priorities independently with varying deadlines in a complete and accurate manner. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex discrepancies and reconciliation issues independently. **Risk Management** Discern time-sensitive issues and prioritize appropriately; escalate unresolved issues to management. Maintain and demonstrate a strong awareness of risk and comply with team controls to mitigate risk in department policies, procedures, and heightened standards. Identify and provide solutions to address operational risk, enhance the reconciliations/ reporting process and optimize efficiencies. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for accurately developing, updating, and reviewing departmental procedures timely and proactively. **Leadership** Provide guidance and training to co-workers, especially as it relates to process changes, project activities and new tools/reconciliations. Adaptable and embrace change at a rapid pace while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong intrapersonal and communication skills. **Qualifications:** Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience - Three to four years of experience in financial accounting activities Preferred Skills/Experience -Knowledge of Reconciliations -Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications - Advanced knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis **Job:** Accounting / Finance **Primary Location:** Wisconsin-WI-Milwaukee **Shift:** 1st - Daytime **Average Hours Per Week:** 40 **Requisition ID:** 200003297 U.S. Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
