Where the Chemistry Happens

 

We are seeking a professional like you to develop the market position and market share of Nunhems Onions, as well as build up a long-term relationship with international or national customers in line with the M&S strategy and within BASF Vegetable Seeds in order to realize profitability and partnership.

 

Formula for Success: You Will

  • Plan, review, adapt and execute the annual sales plan for the North American from inputs such as sales targets, key performance indicators, and crop marketing plan to achieve annual Basic Plan.
  • Represent the company and introduce value-based products according to the needs of the customer while building longing term partnership and generate short term sales. Find innovative ways to demonstrate value of Nunhems assortment.
  • Manage customer teams to provide solutions to customers needs/challenges, improve customer facing processes, create and share information, and overcome objections with the result of enhancing the customer experience with Nunhems.
  • Provide market, price, product, grower, and consumer insight in order to contribute to the formulation of the vision and strategy plans for the crop.
  • Contribute to the trial program to come up with proposals regarding the assortment for local needs or for specific customers. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate and promote varietal performance and new introductions.

Qualifications

 

        Bachelors Degree

      Sales experience  preferred

        Well-rounded knowledge of vegetable seed business

        Strong agronomic skills

        Advanced consultative selling skills, including negotiation, and closing

        Advanced written and verbal communication skills as well as computer skills

        Strong entrepreneurial spirit combined with a good ability to influence decisions of people        with different backgrounds and in various functions
