What You'll Do

You will be passionate about sales and prospecting for a group of named accounts. You bring a long term view of the selling opportunities and are not focus on short term sales or sales transactions.

  • Research market transitions, industry trends, customer strategies to actively identify groundbreaking opportunities for customers
  • Lead forward-thinking discussions with customers on the possibilities of Cisco solutions and technologies
  • Articulate customers favorable position gained from shared Cisco and customer vision
  • Contribute to the design of innovative business value adding solution and maintaining integrity of the solution to its original transformational intent
  • Build business relationships with Senior Line of Business & IT leaders.
  • Present, position, and support solution focused discussions, workshops and roadmaps.
  • Position and embed Cisco Architects and/or strategists in the deal discussions, planning phase, etc.
  • Support and contribute to Cisco account planning activities
  • Track progress in satisfying WIN reporting requirements and monitoring progress of relationship transformation

Who You Are

You're a self-starter with the ability to build relationships, articulate Cisco's product and business strategies, create demand and make deals close. You have knowledge of working with technical solutions including calling on decision makers and business influencers.

  • Minimum BA degree (MBA preferred) and 3+ years account management experience
  • Understand large business organizations and their buying cycles.
  • Knowledge of leading a large enterprise account, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations skills, and short/mid/long term opportunity management is needed.
  • Can deliver business value to the account and build on customer relationships.
  • Extensive experience with selling to companies greater than 1500 employees, multi-site, complex selling cycle, technology adopters and Fortune 500 (both Private and Public Sector).
  • Able to demonstrate skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using an outcome with an "everybody wins" philosophy.
  • Be able to position "end-to-end" solutions and articulate Cisco strategies to senior customer executives.
