The Position:

HC3 is looking to add an Account Manager to our Client Services team. The Account Managers responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. They also manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationships with clients. They are also responsible for working with a team of Account Managers dedicated to meeting the operational needs of assigned client segments.  

All prospective candidates should be comfortable and proficient in both speaking over the phone or via email correspondence. This is an in-office position and punctuality, resourcefulness, and attention to detail will be a necessity. The ideal candidate will be capable of self-management, task prioritization, and understand the importance of seeing issues through to the solution. 

Key Duties:

  • Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in-person meetings

  • Develop a trusted adviser relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

  • Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure the accurate execution of client orders

  • Support project coordination and daily workflows by engaging with cross-functional teams

  • Prepare timely, accurate and concise reports on customer activities and issues

  • Act as the key liaison between the Client and various departments

  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis

  • Cooperate with and support other members of the Client Services Team


  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

  • 4 - 5 years of Proven account management or other relevant experience

  • Typing speed and accuracy 

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks

  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity

  • Positive attitude & customer-centric mentality

  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines

  • Familiarity with G Suite is a plus

  • Highly knowledgeable with MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus
