Job SummaryThe role of the Training Environment Analyst is to configure / build training environments to provide accurate and effective material and education. Provide technical assistance with the build and maintenance of the training environment and the associated environments.Accountabilities¢\t Perform multi-level testing with responsibility for analysis of results and resolution of any problems.¢\tAnalyze workflows and develop education/training material to ensure education/training initiatives are met. Research and analyze new functionality to develop education materials¢\tConfiguring training environments to provide accurate and effective material and education.¢\tMaintain training environment related documentation (i.e. Cookbooks, Mitosis Sheets, Master User Spreadsheets).¢\tCoordinate with Penn Medicine Technical teams for scheduled maintenance and downtime. ¢\tParticipate in EMR change control meeting and processes. Manage content loaded to the learning home dashboards and education websites¢\tPlanning and development of new specifications in the environment. Assist with Writing, designing, editing, and maintaining documentation and training materials.¢\tAssist in coordination of training environment rebuild periods. Gather required data from users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications. ¢\tPerforms duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures¢\tOther duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

Required Education/Experience\n•\tBachelor's Degree with a major in Instructional design, business, education or healthcare related field. \n•\t3+ years of direct EMR build experience\n\nLicenses, Registrations, and Certifications\n•\tAt least one electronic medical record (EMR) certification is required, Epic is preferred. If the certification is Epic, completion of at least one Epic 300 level TED course\n\nRequired Skills/Abilities\n•\tDemonstrated proficiency to manage complex data sets\n•\tKnowledge of healthcare operations and data structures and the use of information system applications in the practicing healthcare environment\n•\tAbility to express technical information clearly and simply to non-technical persons\n•\tAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of staff\n•\tDemonstrated customer service skills\n•\tExperience with electronic health records\n•\tAbility to follow oral and written instructions\n•\tAbility to implement process improvements\n•\tExperience in developing and presenting analytics reports\n•\tDemonstrated success in coordinating the activities and deliverables of project teams\n•\tExperience in designing, building, and improving key processes\n•\tAbility to follow through issues to resolution. \n•\tAbility to troubleshoot, research, and solve technically challenging problems involving integrated systems. \t\n\nPreferred Skills\n•\tAbility to navigate a political landscape with internal and external stakeholders \n•\tAbility to lead educations sessions appropriate to the audience
