Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an 1st Shift Production Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in New Town, North Dakota.
Essential Functions:

+ Supervises employees who put together component parts to make assemblies, subassemblies, packaging or completed units.
+ Monitors daily operations of a unit and actively assists, or provides direction to, subordinates as required.
+ May perform, especially in staff or professional groups, ongoing operational tasks of organizational groups.
+ Ensures that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules.

Job Scope:

+ Responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, day to day workflow, and operating costs).
+ Responsibilities include: team/personnel management, staffing/recruiting, cost, schedule, and technical performance of a specific unit or work package on a large system development-type contract or broad responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a delivery order or small technical services-type contract.
+ Assignments are received in task oriented terms.
+ Provides direction to subordinates using established policies and precedents. Work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Knowledge and Technical Skills:

+ Analysis & interpretation.
+ Full working knowledge of procedures and practices.
+ Personnel Management and Conflict resolution.
