**Job Description:**

**Position Overview**

Validation engineer who will focus on creating and carrying out Validation and Verification plans for Light and Heavy Rail vehicles produced by Siemens.

+ This role ensures that we delivery safe, reliable, fully functioning rail vehicles to customers.

+ This is an entry level position which reports to the Head of Validation.


+ Read and understand technical documents and create test procedures based on them.

+ Read and understand customer technical requirements and ensure these requirements are met.

+ Help technicians troubleshoot vehicle issues.

+ Think outside the box to develop solutions which reduce cost of Validation and Verification plans.

+ Develop solutions which improve fleet reliability.

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**

+ Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ Proven ability to read technical documents and write technical procedures.

+ Effectively engage with customers to resolve technical challenges and create a positive experience.

+ Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

+ Must understand the fundamentals of the field of Electrical Engineering.

+ Experience with circuit design and programming languages.

+ Proficient in Java programming.
