Primary Job Function:

Manage US support functions essential to sales force productivity and effectiveness, working with Commercial VPs, Sales Directors, Contracts and Pricing, Finance and Marketing in order to achieve the strategic and sales objectives in a diverse, high-growth and fast moving business segment.

Main Responsibilities:

Drive growth and provide insight through sales analytics and dashboards, account/business plans and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Execute quota allocation strategy and territory/region mapping and analysis.

Responsible for US sales incentive compensation design, implementation and communication.

Plan, design and execute sales incentive plans, incentive trips, SPIFFs, etc., within assigned budget.

Lead and/or provide support on global strategic objectives.

Lead and develop direct reports.

Ensure people management and associated administrative tasks are completed promptly and accurately.

Work cross-functionally to meet organizational goals.

Manage and provide timely and accurate communications to internal customers.

Continually evaluate and leverage technology to streamline processes and build efficiencies.

Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures and guidelines.

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.

Accountability/Scope:

This position is accountable for the following: 1. implementation of strategy, scope, process and programs which incent sales; 2. providing significant and positive impact to short-term, mid-range and long-term organizational goals; 3. demonstrating continual improvement in commercial incentive programs and processes; 4. creating a work environment that supports cross-functional team effectiveness; 5. management and development of reporting staff; mentor others as appropriate; This position has managerial responsibility and administrates compensation design and quota setting; demonstrated appropriate level of leadership experience to lead and influence both with and without direct authority; considerable latitude exists in decision-making; position requires high levels of competence, confidence and credibility; strategic and tactical decisions will be made based upon data the individual provides and/or presents in a management or informal setting; consequences of erroneous decisions or recommendations would negatively impact the goals of the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required; preference for degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.   Typically requires 7+ years of related financial and / or sales bonus plan experience preferably in the healthcare industry to satisfactorily meet the skills and responsibilities of this position. Candidate / incumbent should possess the following: - background of success in the development, implementation, execution and communication of sales incentive programs; - ability or aptitude to work on problems that are complex in scope where analysis of situations or data involves multiple competing factors; - ability to influence and lead both with and without direct authority; - ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications; - ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior; - ability to work independently, in groups and to effectively lead groups; - demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills; - ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software; - ability to prioritize; - strong organization, time- and project management skills.
