Total Absence Management Unit Leader

**Job Location:** United States : Florida : Tampa

**Role Value Proposition:**

Provides exemplary customer service by managing total absence claims in a timely and accurate fashion.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Participates in customer presentations, new account implementations and special projects.

+ Anticipates, resolves and responds to Total Absence Management claim problems or productivity issues.

+ Works with customers to negotiate, arbitrate, and resolve issues, concerns, and expectations regarding process, service and performance guarantees.

+ Accountable for ensuring team performance with delivery on customer commitments and high quality claim decisions.

+ Acts as a project lead and /or participates in various project assignments.

+ Conducts quality management reviews to ensure financial and decisional accuracy identify training opportunities and process improvements as outcomes.

+ Full people management responsibility, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**


+ High School Diploma.

+ 7+ years of claims experience with 2+ years of experience in leadership position.

+ Solid business knowledge of Total Absence Management products

+ Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.

+ Proficient in use of multiple systems and technology resources.

+ Ability to read, interpret and explain contracts and Total Absence Management plans.


+ Bachelors degree preferred
