HIRING!  Technical Support Specialist

Homes.com, a division of Dominion Enterprises, is seeking an energetic, goal-driven and service focused individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist in our team.  The position will involve supporting the various teams within our business.  

This includes troubleshooting technical issues, routing these issues to the appropriate technical team, providing updates about ongoing issues and ensuring issues are completed.  

A qualified candidate should have a passion for assisting customers resolve internet based technical issues via email or telephone.   Escalate and help to prioritize problems (when required) to and with the appropriately experienced Department(s). Candidate should be proficient in walking customers through application issues and resolutions via remote desktop/screen share tools.  If you love internet based support, please complete the application below and join our team.

Recommended Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organization skills
  • Excellent understanding of common website browsers and how to replicate customer issues
  • Experience working with an issue/ticket management system
  • Proven Problem Solving abilities (example: Chrome Browser Developer Tools)
  • Experience conducting remote desktop/screen share sessions
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Experience with G Suite Products (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Forms)
  • Able to grasp new concepts, procedures, processes and applications quickly and efficiently.
  • General understanding of SQL, Javascript, and Database queries
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the real estate industry is a plus
