**Job Description:**







**Position Overview**







The Technical Product Manager - Senior is responsible for driving the



vision and execution of a product or product family throughout all



stages of the product lifecycle. Utilizing a combination of business



and technical skills to communicate between development, sales, and



product marketing, the Technical Product Manager ensures that the



products meet established goals for revenue and customer satisfaction.



This dynamic role will support the entire Specialized Engineering Software



product portfolio with a focus on Fibersim, the complete software solution



for the composites design and manufacturing.







Receives direction from one or more senior leaders in the form of



desired results and translates into tactical assignments for



individuals or teams. Spends a large percentage of time serving as a



technical member of the team. May be required to engage in or manage



essential activities or projects which span multiple complex products.



Recommends solutions to issues to his or her management. Manages within



budget constraints.







This position reports to the Vice President of the Specialized



Engineering Software organization, which develops Siemens PLM



Softwares Fibersim, Syncrofit, and Mastertrim products.







**Responsibilities**







Strategic Business Planning







Plan and coordinate monthly business strategy meetings with



management team to review pipeline and sales progress towards targets,



key customer status, marketing and product updates. Coordinate



strategic product planning activities and inputs from industry leads to



drive long term product directions to prioritize investments and create



transparency in product investment decisions. Trackand follow up on



strategic actions.







Industry lead for Wind Energy, Marine and Sports and Recreation



industries







Perform strategic analyses, including but not limited to market



analysis, competitive intelligence, profitability analysis, financial



modeling, and business case development. Form product investments



hypotheses and validate/invalidate them and create strategy proposals



and presentations to influence and drive buy-in from leadership and



other stakeholders on your proposals and drive implementation plans



Support sales and develop sales enablement and go to market



collateral







**Academic and Industry Partnerships**







Manage relationships with technology and academic partners and



industry partners. This includes signing up, renewing, approving,



scheduling regular meetings with partners and working with Siemens



Product Lifecycle Management Partnership Team.



Composites Coordination Team







Assist in defining Siemens PLM wide composites industry strategy.



Lead regular cross business segment team meetings to align composites



product development and go to market efforts.







**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**







Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field



5+ yrs CAD / PLM experience



Familiarity with composite industry



Familiarity with Fibersim



Availability to travel as required to support internal meetings, sales



activities and events (less than 10% of time)



Must have comprehensive and diversified knowledge of methods and



practices in broad areas of customers industries.



Must be capable of managing others indirectly in a matrixed



organization, with strong detail orientation and influence skills.



Must be capable of juggling a variety of different tasks and moving



them forwards in a timely manner







Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the

**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**







MBA or advanced Engineering degree



Working knowledge of Fiberism, NX, Teamcenter, CATIA, and Creo



products, as well as familiarity with Syncrofit and Mastertrim products



Knowledge of methods and practices in Automotive industry



3+ yrs product management experience



5+ yrs composites industry experience



Experience working with Aerospace, Wind Energy and Marine industries,



as well as familiarity with methods and practices in Automotive industry
