**Job Description:**







**Position Overview**







The capital assets lifecycle management (CALM) product manager will work with Industries, global sales teams and partners to define CALM business requirements and develop the product roadmap for CALM spanning multiple Teamcenter applications and technologies. The product manager will define new product features and new products throughout all stages of the product life cycle, from conceptualization through end-of-life. The CALM PM will work with Industries, product marketing and global sales to define the go-to-market strategy and will support Teamcenter product launch activities to ensure commercial product success. Post-launch, the CALM PM continues to work with Industries, product marketing, sales and development to manage the product through its lifecycle to ensure it meets established goals for revenue and customer satisfaction. The CALM PM will perform essential activities across multiple product and organizational lines: support new customer sales opportunities, support customer implementations, work with partners, and make critical decisions regarding product lifecycle evolution. The product manager has authority on pricing and packaging of products.







**Responsibilities**







** Functional domain knowledge/expertise: Capital project planning and execution, plant design and engineering, and engineering-construction coordination.**



** Industry knowledge/expertise: CAPEX and OPEX project delivery in the energy & utilities (primary), automotive, and consumer products industries.**







** Practical knowledge/general experience: Product development in context of Teamcenter foundation and its applications.**



** Essential Functions The technical product manager is responsible for gathering requirements from internal and external customers, prioritizing release content, developing business use cases, coordinating with product development and product validation, and taking product to market. Taking the product to market includes direct interaction with industries, sales, services, customers, analysts, advisory boards and user groups. All of these efforts must be aligned**



**with the overall Siemens PLM strategy and internal product development processes.**







** The technical product manager must possess both technical skills and business acumen. The technical product manager must be able to understand customer and market needs and translate them into revenue-generating application solutions in a large and complex PLM**



**platform framework.**







** The primary domain for this position is in the area of capital asset lifecycle management (CALM) with emphasis on greenfield and brownfield capital projects.**







** The CALM PM must develop intimate knowledge of a multiple Teamcenter capabilities and collaborate with the product managers responsible for configuration management, program planning and management, change management, requirements management, analytics and reporting, workflow and others.**



** The CALM PM must support our internal software development methodologies.**







**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience**







Bachelors and/or masters degree in engineering or computer science







10-15 years of combined experience in software product development and technology sales for large customers in a product management or solution delivery role, including the development of product/solution specifications, preparing and delivering internal and customer facing presentations, and preparing and presenting business plans.







Developing strategic visions for products and solutions.







Authoring product specifications (business use cases/requirements, process flows, functional use cases, etc).



Authoring white papers, positioning documents, marketing content/deliverables, etc.







Location: Eastern US preferred or Major U.S. City: Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, or Minneapolis)







Frequent international travel - holder of a valid passport
