**Role Value Proposition:**

The Agency Business Development team within MetLife Property & Casualty Sales is focused on attracting and recruiting the highest level of quality agents into Property & Casualty Specialists (PCS). This role is responsible for driving key line-of-business activities aimed at increasing Property & Casualtys sales power through the creation and management of multiple talent attraction and assessment strategies. The immediate focus will be on building our employee agent workforce of PCS, developing Agents to Agencies and driving profitable growth for the Enterprise.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Working with Sales Leadership and Market Management on determining the most effective geographic deployment strategy for PCS;

+ Developing tools and skills to increase Sales Manager ability to identify, attract, evaluate and onboard 80+ PCS each year. These would include:

+ Working with PCS Value Proposition to use and market it most effectively and keep it up-to-date;

+ Partnering with MetLife Talent Acquisition partners to deploy resources effectively and efficiently;

+ Creating, refreshing and/or serving as the subject matter expert on candidate assessment tools such as Structured Interview Guides, Behavioral Interviewing Skills, Assessment Devices (e.g., LIMRA, Caliper);

+ Build the overall talent attraction and assessment competency of the Sales Management population;

+ Partnering with Social Media team to drive Manager engagement in posting and running campaigns;

+ Create/manage programs (e.g., Employee Referral promotions) to increase qualified candidate flow from multiple sources;

+ Own content and strategy behind creation and utilization of PCS talent attraction micro site.

+ Owning data analytics surrounding hiring and 1-2 year performance of new hires to assure our hiring profile is optimal and being adhered to.

+ Partnering with Agency Development Specialists to increase success rate of new hires (validation, retention, production).

+ Lead efforts in shifting our focus to attract and gain success with Experience-Lite (EXPL) candidates.

+ Exploring how to use strategies and tools developing for PCS recruiting to appoint Independent Agencies.

+ Be an active participant in MetLife Way Sales Transformation Initiatives.

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**


+ 5+ years corporate talent attraction experience (Sales attraction experience a plus).

+ Strong experience with multiple talent attraction platforms, including social media and other web-based tools.

+ Experience leveraging data to assess success, extrapolate insights and drive decision making.

+ Ability to build domain expertise and understanding of business strategy.

+ Demonstrated examples of partnership with peers and collaboration on cross-functional teams.

+ Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of an organization.

+ Proven ability to build and deploy programs to a geographically distributed team.

+ Training and Influence Management skills.


+ Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred.
