Supervisor - General Agency Sales

**Job Location:** Warwick, RI







**Key Responsibilities:**







+ Manages team of 10-15 sales consultants.



+ Ensures that team meets sales goals, quality goals and time service metrics.



+ Facilitates resolution on escalated issues and provides guidance and support to team.



+ Compiles sales data or metrics from various sources and provides feedback to staff.



+ Analyze, interpret and report out on sales results to guide business decisions.



+ Maintain databases or oversee development of systems or tracking mechanisms to further enhance sales opportunities.



+ Help develop and coach new and veteran sales consultants.



+ Create and ensure overall strength and consistency of sales communications across supported sales organization.







**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**







+ Assists in people management responsibilities, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development.



+ Supervises the daily operations of a team of sales consultants to ensure exceptional customer service and rapid call response is delivered at all times.



+ Effectively manage the workload balance of the team, assume workload when necessary to ensure all producers needs are met.



+ Monitor the quality and accuracy of information provided by associates and initiate new training or coaching programs as needed.



+ Keep abreast of all new initiatives, underwriting and product changes and ensure new information is disseminated to associates in an easy to understand, timely manner.







Required:







+ Property & Casualty License



+ 5+ years of relevant business experience



+ People management experience







Preferred:







+ Bachelors degree
