now have a software development position available in our Mainstream Engineering

Software Organization.

As an intern in Mainstream Engineering Software (MES), you

will dive into developing our premiere Solid Edge CAD software. Projects in

this organization will build off of each other. Each successive internship in MES

will expand on a new area of the software development lifecycle. You may work

on business critical software issues, accelerate development in functional

enhancements to our desktop applications, code prototypes for new releases, create

configuration management scripting, etc. You will be part of a small, agile

SCRUM development team, giving you the opportunity to partner withsenior engineers. Here, you willpush

the limits on our project teams by:

+ Designingand developing Solid Edge product enhancements

+ Creatingtools, utilities and script development for automation

+ Diving into requirements definition,in-depth analysis, and code implementation

+ Discovering solutions to our problemreports

+ Championingall steps in the software development lifecycle (specs, design, construction,test planning and execution)

+ Validating software quality through unit testing, writingautomated tests, and bug fixing

Organization Requirements:

+ Currently enrolled as anundergraduate student local to the Huntsville, AL area

+ Minimum 3.0 GPA

+ Permanently eligible to work in theUnited States without sponsorship by an employer

+ Preferredsophomore or junior status

+ Studyingfor a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

+ Strongcoding skills in C++ and JAVA

+ Commandinggrasp of C#, Python, Excel Programming, or Perl

+ Commandinggrasp of JavaScript, HTML, ANGULAR

+ Familiaritywith AWS core services

+ Knowledgeablein object oriented concepts

+ Writeclean, robust, and maintainable code
