**Role Value Proposition:**







Responsible for leading recruitment for the Sales Trainee Program including developing the national strategy, identifying and attracting future sales talent and managing the selection process. Manages the onboarding of sales trainees including communications, ordering equipment, partnership with local office support. Ownership of the sales trainee deployment process including planning interviews, partnering with HR and RDs and overseeing sales trainee transition.







**Key Responsibilities:**







Leads the Recruitment Strategy by:







+ Developing and implementing the national recruitment strategy



+ Coordinating and attending campus events including career fairs and on-campus interviews with local resources such as sales trainees, account executives and sales leaders



+ Developing marketing and recruitment advertisements for the program including fliers, website enhancements, social media tools



+ Managing the interview process including the candidate experience and scheduling with leadership from phone screens, first round interviews, on-campus interviews and final round interviews



+ Organizing and participating in on-campus, first round interviews and final round interviews



+ Partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, Sales Leadership and Trainee Program Director to identify and hire high caliber and diverse sales talent







Leads Sales Trainee(s) Deployment:







+ Partnering with sales leadership to determine opportunity need



+ Building/executing regional interviews for Sales Trainees



+ Overseeing role transition including partnership with HR, RDs and Trainees







Leads Sales Trainee(s) Onboarding, including the Orientation phase of Sales Academy:







+ Building/executing on the on-boarding process for the sales trainee(s)



+ Facilitate weekly webinars in partnership with sales trainee program leadership



+ Lead the planning of the Orientation Lab in NYC



+ Leading regular calls with the sales trainees by office hub



+ Acting as a resource for the sales trainee(s) through frequent contact







Supports the Employee Benefits Sales Trainee Program by:







+ Reviewing and analyzing feedback to determine on-going program improvements or changes



+ Assists in on-going communication regarding the program including sales trainee directory, hub directory, onboarding newsletters to new hires, mentorship alignments and other program updates







**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**







+ Exceptional communication (verbal, written and presentation)



+ Strong organizational, strategic planning and execution skills



+ Experience in campus recruiting and interviewing candidates



+ Ability to identify, attract and help develop entry level sales talent



+ Experience in on-boarding new associates, building a team atmosphere and creating a culture of inclusion



+ Ability to mentor and have difficult conversations



+ Ability to develop and implement strategies involving new courses of action and gain buy-in from senior leadership



+ Strong understanding of sales and the group insurance marketplace



+ Demonstrates knowledge of MetLife products



+ Leverages enterprise partnerships to provide solutions that meet the needs of the Sales Trainee Program and the business



+ Ability to travel: 40%
