**Job Description:**







**Position Overview**







As a Product Designer within PHM, you will own the end-to-end solution experience, along with your product management colleagues. In this role you will work on everything from initial ideation, to concept development, to final design and delivery of healthcare solutions. Our ultimate goal is to deliver digital health products that can be differentiated by their best-in-class user experience.







**Responsibilities**







As a key member of the product team, you will have a significant impact on the overall success of the PHM business. Your specific responsibilities may include:







+ Conduct primary and secondary research to understand problem space and opportunities



+ Create solution concepts to demonstrate direction and participate in validation sessions



+ Continually refine concepts using techniques such as prototyping in order to elicit more detailed product design



+ Plan and execute usability studies, analyze data, document results and present recommendations to product development teams



+ Define and communicate product design (visual, interaction, UX) to development and data science team, facilitating ultimate delivery of the end product



+ Aid in the creation and maintenance of deliverables for the Siemens PLM development process



+ Assume shared responsibility for overall success of a particular project or initiative, including providing input into product roadmaps based on continuous feedback and iterations







**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**







+ An undergraduate degree in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education



+ A demonstrated track record of successful completion of related initiatives



+ 4-8 years of experience in similar roles, ideally in digital/software companies with formal product development processes



+ Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills in English are required



+ Extensive experience developing user experiences with modern interfacing and prototyping tools (e.g. sketch, axure, principle)



+ You must be creative, flexible and have the ability to productively deal with ambiguity and solve problems



+ Travel (25%)







**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**







+ Knowledge of hospital or clinical information systems is highly desired
