Job Summary



Perform assignments requiring use and application of electrical engineering or scientific development principles and techniques. Assignments usually consist of solving problems that are a part of a larger project or system. Uses independent judgment to make decisions in day-to-day job responsibilities the majority of the time under general supervision.



Job Responsibilities



+ This engineering position is the Display Center Systems Engineering team. This engineering position involves new product transitions to production along with support of fielded military and commercial flight deck display products. An engineer in this position will have design cognizance of assigned providing an introduction to Systems Engineering and project leadership tasks.This position is suited for a motivated, self-directed engineer with the ability to work with all types of personnel including program management, electrical and mechanical designers, as well as engineering and production technicians. This position provides exposure to various shared services within the company, Production Operations, Program Management, and certification authorities. You will also have the opportunity to be mentored by highly experienced engineers in this rapidly expanding field of technology. Job responsibilities include:

+ Circuit board design enhancements

+ Qualification and verification testing for product updates

+ Creation and approval of engineering change orders

+ Creation of service bulletins

+ Obsolete part management

+ Estimating schedule and budgets for product updates

+ Leading small teams in root cause & corrective action activities

+ This engineering position involves support of fielded military and commercial flight deck display products. Basic Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline.
