**Job Location:** United States : New York : Troy

Role Value Proposition:

Conducts quality reviews, analyzes findings, and collaborates with management to ensure a high standard of technical claim handling is established and maintained for one or more coverage line(s).

Key Responsibilities:

+ Works within broad limits and authority on highly complex assignments requiring specialized knowledge.

+ Viewed as senior resource in given field for department and/or unit.

+ Completes comprehensive electronic quality assurance program reviews for a specific coverage line of business

+ Analyzes results, Identifies best practices and areas of opportunity, ascertains training needs and communicates findings to appropriate parties related to claim file quality and accuracy.

+ Collaborates with leadership to develop, implement, and track action plans for improvement.

+ Maintains a consistent understanding and application of quality/accuracy standards throughout the claims organization in partnership with line of business Leaders. Conducts strategic focus reviews aimed at special issues of a technical nature.

+ Partners with other claim team members to create and provide technical training/education by providing expertise to assist in training development, coordinating training programs, and/or conducting training. .

+ Prepares regular reports of activities, findings and achievements.

+ Identifies low value activities & inefficient processes & recommends process improvements.

+ Contributes to and/or leads special projects requiring claims technical expertise.

+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.

+ Supervisory Responsibilities: Provides guidance, training and quality review of lower level personnel in regards to customer service, communication, timeliness, follow up and technical adjusting skills.

Required Skills:

+ 7+ years Adjusting experience with previous supervisory/leadership skills.

+ Licensed to adjust in assigned territory.

Preferred Skills:

+ Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience.
