**Job Summary:** The Senior Business Procedures Consultant is responsible for leading efforts to support existing and develop and implement new or modified processes, procedures and initiatives, with a particular focus on Voluntary Benefits and Billing and Remittance operations. The position is aligned with our Group Benefits customer facing functions and strong partnership with the National Accounts Service and Sales teams and respective partner organizations is essential to success in this role.

**Functional Responsibilities:**

+ Under minimal supervision, oversees ongoing support efforts and large projects that span across multiple areas, functions, and/or lines of business to implement new and/or modified processes, procedures, and/or initiatives;

+ Conducts complex research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and issues and develops formal recommendations for presentation to management

+ Oversees complex projects that include various phases and moderately sized project teams;

+ Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports;

+ Runs project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis;

+ Provides updates to business leadership regarding project status and the application and implementation of new or revised procedures, processes, and/or initiatives;

+ Designs, implements, and monitors the progress of initiatives, milestones, and budgets to ensure timeliness and deliverables are met;

+ Manages critical relationships with consultants and vendors, internal end users, and business customers/leadership; and

+ Provides information and/or training to end users to help resolve inquiries related to assigned processes, procedures, and/or initiatives.

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**


+ Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal;

+ Strong attention to detail, anticipating and understanding the downstream impact and ensuring high quality results;

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and collaborate with team members, partners and senior leadership;

+ Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience; and

+ 8-10 years of related work experience.


+ Strong project management and change management skills;

+ Adept at building a roadmap by leveraging experience and resources;

+ Strong technical knowledge; and Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

+ Ability to work in a dynamic, hands-on, fast-paced environment and respond to questions from diverse business areas;

+ Strong listening skills to ensure understanding of the business needs;

+ Ability to oversee multiple projects/initiatives with competing demands in a continuously changing environment;
