**Job Description:**







A Software Engineer (SE) on the FEMAP team will be responsible for



interfacing with existing FEMAP team resources, sales resources, and



customers to identify new features and functionality that needs to be



added to the FEMAP product. The SE will then work with fellow team



members to identify the best algorithms and methods to implement, and



then code the new functionality in the FEMAP development environment.



The SE will then be expected to thoroughly test and document the new



features, and work with Application Engineering team members to further



test, document, and finally release said functionality. This position



requires someone that can work both independently at times to quickly



identity and code new functionality, but then with the team to verify



FEMAP consistent look and feel and provide an efficient end-user



workflow experience.







Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Material, or



Mechanical Engineering. Candidate should have prior work or co-op



experience working with the software development of a commercial Finite



Element Analysis Pre- and Post-Processor. Candidate should be



experienced with modern software development tools and processes,



including Microsoft Visual Studio using C and C++. Candidate should be



familiar with the FEMAP Application Programming Interface. Experience



using NASTRAN is also high desireable.
