**Job Description:**

Siemens Postal, Parcel and Airport Logistics LLC is currently seeking a proactive Site Operations Manager at the Newark International Airport location to manage the total overall operation of the facility to contract standards. Ensure that the operation and maintenance of our baggage handling systems run smoothly as technical and safety compliance issues are addressed with internal and external customers.


Prepare proposals for additions, deletions, and changes to the contract scope as requested.

Track, analyze, and trend project costs.

Assist with invoicing as needed.

Review and approve all expenditures for materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and subcontracts.

Monitor and enforce safety compliance as you train and develop the site support team.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Education:

-Five years of Operations and Maintenance of baggage handling systems at an airport with more than 7,000,000 enplanements.

-Site and personnel management experience (minimum 5 years of experience in a

supervisory role)

-Technical Background and working knowledge of baggage handling systems as well as electrical and mechanical controls

-Maintenance work flow training (scheduling, PM tasking, work order creation, etc)

-Adhering to safety regulations and safe work practices.

-Ability to pass all background checks and security screenings per airport requirements.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Supervises multiple employees, typically hourly and/or non-exempt administrative or technical. Maintains performance management responsibilities for employees under purview and provides input into hiring, termination and promotion decisions.
