**Job Description:**







Basic Function Manages the Service business - Operations for St. Louis, MO and Bloomington, IL territories. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all Service Operations activities to achieve profitable growth. Ensures superior account management, initiative strategies, service execution, customer and employee satisfaction and maintains project cost control to meet overall business strategies and goals. Leads local Service business strategic planning and execution including programs, tools, resource hiring, personnel development and allocation, financial forecasting, monitoring and issue resolution to continuously improve productivity and revenue. II. Essentials Duties Manages the Service business in conjunction with SBT partners to ensure support for customer business strategies, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction. Manages delivery of the full range of Service offerings. Manages multiple financial components of the service business including forecasting, estimating, monitoring, and recovery planning. Provides leadership and direction to develop and implement strategies aimed at increasing business growth and financial success, asset management, reducing costs, enhancing customer satisfaction and employee productivity, and improving quality. Manages and collaborates with service sales employees to create effective service plans and programs for the local market and for each customer. Works in conjunction with other sales and operations partners to develop successful Custom Solution/Service strategies that meet business needs. Monitors sales activities, contract bookings, renewal and escalations, service contracts and other service bookings. Builds, maintains and manages a superior operations organization committed to achieving customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and financial performance goals. Responsible for, directs or approves employee hiring, training and development, performance assessment and issue resolution. Controls staffing and budgetary requirements to ensure organizational effectiveness. Prepares and submits forecasts. Leads or provides direction on workforce and other resource allocation. Maintains communications between all branch sales, operations, Local Management and Zone management as appropriate. Implements national operations programs, other best practice plans or programs as required. Continues to improve technical competence of companys products, applications, tools and services. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory requirements, laws, codes, labor practices and financing options availability in the market place. Represents Siemens in industry associations, professional organizations and affiliations and develops relationships with builders, contractors and other business community leaders.







Knowledge, Skills & Abilities







Bachelors degree in business, management, operations, engineering or related field. Seven to ten years experience in sales, operations and marketing management with a minimum of five years experience in branch, regional, and/or operations management. Ability to proactively implement organizational and process change in response to business needs. Proven record of influencing and achieving favorable executive level buying decisions. Strong listening, negotiation, planning, organizational, and verbal / written communication skills required.
