Dominion Dealer Solutions (www.drivedominion.com), a division of Dominion Enterprises (www.dominionenterprises.com), is recruiting for a SEO & Content Specialist to join our Marketing Services Team.

Basic Purpose

As Dominion Dealer Solutions, we are leveraging the expertise of many market leading businesses to build solutions and service customers in a manner that far outpaces the competition.

As such, this position will be responsible for assisting with Marketing Services website customers, as they pertain to SEO & content development. This position works closely with other Marketing Services website team members and technical support.

Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively participate with Digital Marketing Manager, Design, SEO and QA team in account kickoff-design-review sessions
  • Identify and generate required edits to account-driven content
  • Develop original content as needed to service account sites
  • Collaborate with SEO/SEM team to review current traffic, research industry best practices and define standards
  • Prepare monthly reports to review SEO & content performance
  • Analyze and report keyword performance and make recommendations as needed
  • Ability to analyze data, create spreadsheets, charts and graphs, and deliver marketing presentations in a professional manner
  • Contribute ideas for on-going enhancement of platform to meet market and creative needs
  • Order content from provider as necessary

    • Have relevant and recent SEO experience
    • Very good decision-making skills regarding both customer and technical issues
    • Strong writing skills and demonstrated experience with creative writing and copy editing
    • Familiarity with web standards and traffic analysis
    • Understanding of retail automotive marketplace

      Education and Experience

      This position requires a minimum of a BA/BS in Marketing/Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations or other related discipline plus 1-2 years’ experience in marketing content development. The educational requirements may be minimized if the candidate has an appropriate work experience.

      • Proficient personal computer skills
      • Ability to work independently and in team environments
      • Proficient time management and multi-tasking skills
      • Strong organizational skills are a must
      • Ability to make effective decisions and set priorities according to the needs of the organization

        Work Environment and Physical Demands

        This position is closely tied to the overall performance of the Marketing Services Team, and as such, faces various demands. These include physical demands such as lifting computers and or monitors, work days may exceed eight hours and long stretches of phone work. This position also includes mental demands such as the normal stresses associated with interacting with people, managing projects, and completing tasks within a defined timeframe.

        This position requires good communication skills, the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel within the organization, excellent organizational and time management skills, and a high level of initiative. Successful candidates are also expected to have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have the ability and willingness to make effective decisions and set priorities according to the needs of the organizational and project.
