**Job Description:**







**Position Overview**







The Senior Warehouse Industrial Engineer will be responsible for defining, deploying and sustaining processes to ensure effective factory/warehouse operations through standardization, improvement, simplification, discontinuance, or other methods. The position is therefore responsible for business processes and IT implementation to ensure a state of the art factory/warehouse operation. This includes internal warehouse processes and integration of processes from our factories/vendors and to our internal and external customer. The candidate must display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems. The incumbent will have a broad knowledge of factory/warehouse operation, project management and process improvement strategies that will have a direct impact to operational performance







**Responsibilities**







Oversees and drives the coordination and execution of facility Kaizen events to continuously improve warehouse and factory operating practices and processes.







Leading the instruction of teams regarding how to apply LEAN methodology for improving efficiency in the operation.







Serve as the Business process lead for all process definition and process changes in a factory/warehouse environment







Oversees the local process optimization team at the Southaven Distribution Center







Serves as the liaison for all IT projects, is responsible for developing the process training of employees affected by IT enhancements and collaborates with the operations team to develop timelines for execution.







Maintaining all Tier I & II reporting for the DCs Southaven and La Mirada







Conduct work and performance measurements. Devises and implements control systems to collect and analyze data, establishes standards for performance and develops tools for measuring performance to control deviation from standards.







Perform project lead for designing and implementing process flow changes and defines IT requirements to adequately support changes (i.e. in







SAP)







**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**







Bachelors degree required (BA, IE, or Supply Chain Management preferred)







8 to 10 years experience working in at least 2 high-volume factories and/or distribution centers or large retail operation.







Proven track record of defining factory and/or warehouse processes and implementing process changes that result in operational savings







Lean or Six Sigma experience or certification







Must be able to define and implement strategies to develop operations and multi-task in a fast paced environment.







Computer skills required, to include Microsoft office experience and ERP/WMS systems experience.







Must possess strong written and oral communications skills and strong presentation skills.







Process and IT knowledge for ERP/WMS systems.







Analytic skills to extract and analyze mass data (Access and/or SQL) in factory, warehouse and logistics environment







Experience in managing logistics and supply chain projects in large corporations.
