**Role Value Proposition:**

Global Customer Solutions (GCS) which provides Sales and Customer Service support of key insurance and protection products within the Americas business. More than 2,500 employees in nearly a dozen contact centers sell MetLife products and answer questions for customers across product lines, including Auto & Home, Dental, and Life

**Key Responsibilities:**

The Senior Support Assistant will:

+ Perform a variety of specialized administrative assignments to support a business unit

+ Provide advanced administrative assistance to staff in a business unit or office

+ Maintain data in unit's database

+ Research and compile data from various sources

+ Select appropriate data for inclusion in reports

+ Reconcile new data to existing records; conducts analyses, resolves differences, and brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of senior personnel

+ Produce and distribute routine reports according to a prescribed schedule

+ Generate own correspondence and composes descriptions of results

+ May assist in the production of reports, presentations, proposals, etc. May respond to customers' basic inquiries

+ May perform ancillary support functions such as scheduling meetings, maintaining files, and coordinating travel. Performs other related duties as required or assigned

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**

+ 2+ yrs. related business experience (Required)

+ High School Diploma/GED (Required)

+ Strong Microsoft Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc)

+ Experience working in a matrixed environment (preferred)

+ Sound knowledge of business unit's policies and procedures, products/services, customer base, and systems
