**Job Description:**

**Siemens Rail Automation** is seeking to hire a Senior Project Scheduler, which provides project management support services for scheduling system projects from inception through completion. In this role, you will develop complete project schedules to include resource loading, time impact analysis, claims analysis, labor distribution, activity prioritization, and planning. You will also administer user support, technical support and assistance with departmental training on Primavera software products used by Project Management and may develop client relationship and/or sales opportunities.


-Develop & update active project schedules and forecast remaining work on active projects; completing reports for task completeness, resource usage, and cost usage for contract specified periods.

-Gather labor/resource/cost information from multiple sources (estimating, engineering, project management, production, subcontractors, vendors, and purchasing). Also, gather deliverables for accountability reports and meetings.

-Administer Primavera P6, Primavera Contract Manager, and/or SharePoint site for Project Management and assists with training of Project Management personnel on the software.

-Write summary analysis of project schedule requirements from bid specifications for assigned project manager and write narratives for schedule updates for review.

-Develop schedules for submission with bids, continuous improvement plan, and project management activities (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management).

-Assist the project manager with the analysis, research, and documentation for bid specifications, schedule risk, claim preparation, time impact delays and/or time extension submittal requirements for active projects.

**Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience:**

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

Typically 8-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
