**Role Value Proposition:**

Associate in Corporate Development Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Support global corporate development effort with responsibility for financial analysis and modeling with respect to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions. Take leadership in management of M&A projects, including due diligence, internal presentations and valuation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Financial analysis and modeling.

+ Preparation of effective PowerPoint presentations with responsibility for the quality of content.

+ Analyze business opportunities originating from internal and external sources.

+ Assists in proactively researching the financial services/insurance market, understand competitive situation and identify new opportunities.

+ Prepare research packages on acquisition candidates and perform preliminary analysis.

+ Monitor media for potential M&A opportunities and other relevant news.

+ Prepare memorandums and presentation materials for internal governance process.

+ Manage due diligence process for various M&A projects including interaction with buyers or sellers.

+ Prepare information memorandums for divestitures.

+ Monitor deal progress and work to maximize results throughout the deal.

+ Assist in the development and maintenance of the standards and methodologies utilized in the acquisition process.

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**

+ Bachelors degree in finance, business, accounting or a related field preferred, MBA desired.

+ Must be self-starter that can independently manage and communicate effectively

+ Exceptional oral and written communication skills necessary

+ [5-10] years relevant business experience.

+ Direct mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance experience required; exposure to insurance plus.Demonstrated competency in accounting and corporate finance

+ Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Ability to build complex financial models to analyze transactions is necessary


+ Combination of experience in: Corporate finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Insurance, and/or investment banking.


+ Domestic and International travel as needed, but not expected to exceed 20%.
