Senior IT Manager - Quality/Regulatory

Successfully plan, manage and deliver multiple/concurrent IT projects within human and financial resources constraints and changing priorities. Develop and manage staff of project management, business analyst and technical architecture professionals to ensure the consistent, successful and compliant completion of projects. Focus on quality/investigations, environmental health and safety, and facilities.


STRATEGIC PLANNING - Set strategic IT direction in alignment with business objectives.  Continually assess and adjust resource and delivery needs based on changing business demands and scope. 

PROJECT CONTROL - Translate strategic objectives into achievable tactical project plans with appropriate supporting resources.  Mitigate and manage changes in scope, issues and risks that impact deliverables.  Ensure clear, concise and timely communication with all stakeholders.  Measure performance to ensure achievement of expected objectives, timeline, and spend. 

STAFF DEVELOPMENT – Identify, hire and develop strong project managers, business analysts and technical architects in support of delivery objectives.  Provide guidance and leadership to project teams so they develop and execute deliverable plans that are achievable and sound. 

COMPLIANCE- Ensure compliance with all applicable corporate and divisional policies, procedures, and guidelines. 

VENDOR MANAGEMENT - Coordinate and manage relationships with vendors, consultants, and external resources in support of initiatives.

PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT – Coordinate department-wide administration of resource demand, capacity planning, and project control activity (planning, reporting, escalation).


Direct budgetary: 0-$8MM or greater. $0M - $9MM or greater in business financial impact.

Mission critical/strategic to business with divisional, multi-divisional, and/or enterprise scope.


Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline.

Master’s degree preferred but not required. 


Minimum 12 years experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment, and software quality/validation with a minimum of 6 years of direct project management experience.  Direct staff management experience required.  Experience in quality/investigations, environmental health and safety, and facilities management domains preferred by not required.
