As a member of the Digital Solutions team, you will lead an Agile Scrum digital product team for digital health within a global business unit across global geographies.  Responsibilities also include driving modern work practices to increase customer engagement, improving cross-organizational collaboration, and getting the most out of the organization within a regulated industry.  The candidate should demonstrate a track record of building successful teams, and working within an innovative environment to bring data driven assets to market.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight health consumers
  • Facilitating getting the work done: without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work
  • Guiding the team on self-organizing to meet delivery needs and getting the most out of self-organizing principles
  • Collaborating with product owner(s), program manager, and suppliers/partners to align delivery expectations
  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team (including relevant suppliers/partners) and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
  • Building a trusting and professional environment, facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution to enable delivery execution
  • Assist program manager to communicate information to stakeholders
  • Support and education product owners

    Education/ Experience  
    • Bachelor’s Degree/ Master’s Degree preferred
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in delivering software products, with progressive leadership roles
    • Minimum 2 years playing the Scrum Master role for a software product development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles
    • Experience or familiarity with technologies and best practices in areas not limited to: Customer experience, web content management, personal/electronic health records, clinical study data management, mobile solutions, social engagement, data driven marketing (DMP), paid display, event bus, audience selection, SEO, tag management, Java, .NET framework, Node.js, AWS/Azure
    • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
    • Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
    • Knowledge of other Agile approaches (e.g. Kanban, SAFe)
    • Knowledge of software development practices (e.g. Agile/Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
