Robotics process automation (RPA) solutions provide a platform for resources from the business operations to deliver self-service process automations on an IT supported, secure and resilient infrastructure.







As a key member of RPA IT Center of Excellence team within EAD - Global Analytics and Data Service organization, the **RPA Specialist** should possesses knowledge of the automation product (Blue Prism Preferred), understands the MetLife IT landscape and is responsible for supporting the RPA Platform and Infrastructure and the related RPA IT CoE shared services per the requirements of Business Process Automation team with the creation and evolution of the RPA solution delivery framework, designing solutions, creating business objects and delivering automated processes.







This role will work with customers of the RPA service to ensure new requests for service are fulfilled in a high quality manner. This position will work closely with Business Process Automation CoE team, the RPA Service Delivery Lead, RPA Solutions Engineers, and RPA L3 support to meet customer requirements. The role serves customers globally.







**Key Responsibilities:**







+ Manage and Coordinate set up, installation and periodic upgrades of the BluePrism Software Components on Application Servers, Database Servers and VDIs in in production and non-production environments.



+ Manage and Coordinate with LoB Application Owners and Business CoE RPA process configuration leads to ensure that required components for target LoB Application client/components are set up and installed on VDIs in production and non-production environments.



+ Guide and collaborate with the regional/local IT teams to help establish respective regional RPA infrastructure.



+ Identify compatible technologies and design patterns for RPA



+ Assist with PoCs to validate any system integration/connectivity/configuration related issues and help devise best approach for rolling them out for large scale deployment



+ Communicate with Blue Prism on software related issues, suggested improvements and participating with other users in the Blue Prism community to troubleshoot RPA infrastructure related issues.



+ Assist with availing RPA Training Environment to approved trainees



+ Support Business CoE with Release/Change Management activities for Process Configuration



+ Create and maintain RPA Infrastructure documentation



+ Assist with RPA Shared Services governance activities



+ Assist in implementing Active Directory Groups, Robot Global Employee IDs to ensure secure and controlled access to Business CoE RPA team members (Global and Regional) and the Robot IDs per established protocols approved by IT Risk and Security.







**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**







**Required:**







+ Bachelors degree or equivalent experience



+ Hands on experience with RPA tools - Blue Prism (Preferred), UI Path/Automation Anywhere/OpenSpan/WinAuto etc



+ Ability to interact with multiple Business and IT partners such as Windows Engineering, Virtual Workspace and Database Engineering teams and the respective Operations teams.



+ Proven technical experience in an IT programming development environment.



+ Strong in requirement gathering and analysis



+ ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind



+ Technical problem-solving skills and Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.



+ Self-driven, motivated and enthusiastic problemsolver with an ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel







**Preferred:**







+ Hands on development experience in any of the programming languages/platforms .NET /J2EE/VB etc.



+ Experience in VB Script, JavaScript (AngularJS, NodeJS), Python, Perl, Bash & PoweShell is highly desired.



+ Customer Service Orientation and ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks with shifting priorities
