**Role Summary:**

Resource manager is responsible for resource planning and execution to meet customer and business metrics. Working closely with the Service Manager and Boiler/Turbine department Supervisors to drive service process excellence across the GE Power Estonia legal entity in terms of utilization of service resources, efficient scheduling of outages, service quality improvement and maintaining high quality service standards.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

• Maximize efficient utilization of service resource and optimize service costs

• Interface with customer within the service delivery process

• Manage and analyze the service demand to ensure adequate resource supply

• Develop and execute short and long-range resource plans based on resource forecasts and region business commitments including recruitment, skills reviews, and resource development through advance level training

• Provide leadership to ensure business meets financial goals by driving unassigned time and utilization metrics

• Efficient scheduling of outages

• Verify timely completion of service request and reports

• Monitoring Service activities throughout Region in coordination with Field Service Managers, and ensure timely execution of Outages

• Owns make/buy decision regarding service staffing;

• Responsible for generating purchase order requests for 3rd party service providers and coordinating their activity

• Interfaces with Sales, Project Management, and Customer to ensure timely, quality service

• Advises Region Management of future demand loading; resource staff sizing

• Manage training needs to ensure effective skill set balance and employee development

• Drive compliance standards


• Engineering University degree

• Experience with Turbine and Boiler equipment

• At least 2 years of supervision / leadership experience

• Strong customer service related background

• Able to prioritize, organize work, and meet deadlines

• Able to multitask, provide direction and address service request issues

• Solid verbal and written communication skills

• Computer skills with MS Office, Oracle and ability to learn other software applications

• Ability to work in and lead cross-functional teams

• Demonstrated Program/Project management skills

• Ability to travel, as needed

• Computer proficient with ability to learn other software applications

• Experience in GE Global Field Services

• Strong service related background
