**Job Location:** United States: West Des Moines, Iowa







**Job Summary:**







Performs duties related to life insurance policy changes, exchanges, and conversions. Processes applications, updates data in systems, and/or provides general clerical and administrative support.







**The Primary Responsibilities:**







+ Researching simple to complex scenarios and handling highly escalated situations



+ Act as a liaison between annuity operations and agents and clients



+ Coordinate corrections through core processing units, and communicate the resolution to our customers



+ May also be responsible for drafting correspondence regarding contract history and corrections that have been processed







**Key Responsibilities:**







+ Navigate systems



+ Submit corrections to be processed by core processing units



+ Communicate resolution and expectations to internal and external customers



+ Identify root causes and trends



+ Special projects to be determined as needed



+ Pro-Active customer centricity focus is required



+ Cross-train across franchises including new business and post issue to effectively balance workload







**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:**







+ Strong phone, customer service and communication skills



+ Demonstrates problem solving and organizational skills



+ Ability to work well under the pressure of working against strict quality and performance guidelines



+ Must contribute to the MetLife culture







**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**







Required:







+ High School Diploma







Preferred:







+ Series 6 designation



+ 3 or more years of customer service experience



+ Annuity experience
